Audio Visual for Presenters

Each room will be equipped with an LCD Projector, appropriate sized screen and microphone (where needed).
All presenters will need to bring their own laptop to use with the LCD projector.
Please let us know if you (a presenter) needs OH projector.

Some Tips

How to produce a PostScript file from MS Word:

If you are using MS Windows, you should install a PostScript printer driver for a PostScript printer such as HP LaserJet 5/5 PostScript (from the “Settings” menu choose “Printers” and then “Add Printer”). MS Windows has drivers available for many PostScript printers so you do not need to get a specific driver from a vendor. From MS Word you then select the printer and print to a file (An option in the printing pop-up window) and then you have a PostScript file. For some printer drivers the PostScript file may have the extension “.prn”. If this is the case, we would appreciate it if you would rename the file to have the extension “.ps” before submitting.

How to produce a PDF file from PostScript file:

(1) Unix: Please use ps2pdf command as belows:

ps2pdf <ps filename> <pdf filename>

Also, you can convert it online at http://www.ps2pdf.com/

(2) Windows: Please use Adobe Acrobat Distiller.
